I’m gonna have a ton of photos to post, so get ready for Saskatchewan/Alberta/BC photos in the next week or two as I get film developed. I’ll post what I took with the Nikon sooner, maybe later today.
I need to do road trips more often, that was a brilliant one, and it was way too long since I last went on a long one. And the V70 did great! The intercooler can’t keep up when the weather is hot and the roads are crazy, and it could use a better transmission cooler. But it never threw any warning lights, ran great, and handled hundreds of kms of steep mountain roads better than the legacy ever could. It’s a total boat, but my back and shoulders don’t hurt after 4700kms of driving.

Road trips are a lot of fun, and we’re lucky to have a lot of beautiful, diverse scenery all around us to road trip to & through. Glad the V70 did so well! Didn’t even burn any oil?

I’ve gotta check again now that it’s had more time to really cool down, but I don’t believe it has

Haha not quite....my cousin went to Seattle for a work meeting a couple weeks ago -nice suit, nice rental car, british accent, very presentable guy. Was held there and treated like a criminal while they searched the car for a couple hours. Basically interrogated, accused of lying, etc...I haven’t crossed into the states since I was 14, so this isn’t making it super appealing lol
